Place ANKAme Temporary anchor point into position as per (owner’s manual installation instructions) and in desired location, follow manufactures user manual for correct installation, selection, use and maintenance as per AS/NZS.

 

HEIGHT SAFETY ROOF ANCHOR, SELECTION, USE, MAINTENANCE & INSPECTION

It is a requirement that the roof anchor be inspected prior to each use, if any of the following are evident, the roof anchor must be removed from service immediately: Any defects, absent markings/ labelling, evidence of missing parts, or if the roof anchor has been used in a fall. Roof anchor not to be used in a corrosive environment. Permanent anchor to be used in the direction of eyebolt only. Roof anchor to be used only where roof sheeting has been fully installed in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. Roof sheeting profile can vary up to 5mm, inspect roof sheeting prior to installation of roof anchor. Roof anchor to be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth. Re-Inspection of Permanent roof anchor systems are to be every 12 months as per AS/NZS.

  • A roof anchor point can be tested as per AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 ( table 3.1 ), load tested to 15Kn of load, that's approximately 1.5 tonners of load, in the direction of a potential fall (this test is carried out by the manufacture only upon initial compliance testing).
