Permanent and Temporary Roof Anchor Points

Follow our five simple steps below to ensure work is done safely:

1.Proper assessment of the worksite: First, inspect the site and check for potential hazards. Consider safety control measures to prevent hazards.

2.Selection of temporary anchor point: Select the anchor according to the job site and work type. You must know which type of anchor is used for metal, concrete roof, tile installation etc.

3.Inspect the roof structure: For instance, if the worksite is on the metal roof, you must know its profile.

4.System designing: While working with temporary anchor points, you should avoid a fall arrest system and rather work in fall restraint. refer to AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 and product user manual for correct installation and use

5.Right execution of the plan: Craft a plan and include all your roof workers in the process. They must know about the system to ensure the correct use of safety equipment to prevent accidents.
