IMPORTANT NOTE:

Roof anchors MUST comply with AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 roof anchor testing and compliance

AS PER THE OHS FALLS CODE OF PRACTICE ROOF ANCHOR POINT SYSTEMS MUST COMPLY TO THE 1891 SET OF STANDARDS 

Protecting the safety of workers who work at heights is critical so ANKAme products comply with the agreed relevant standards such as:

  • AS/NZS 1891.4: 2009 - Roof Anchor Point testing and compliance (15Kn Load), as per table 3.1
  • AS/NZS 1891.2:2001 Supplement 1:2001 part 2 - Static Line Use (15Kn Load)
  • NOTE: 15kn of load is approximately 1.5 tonnes of load
  • NOTE: there is NO dynamic testing in AS/NZS for surface mounted roof anchors ( eg. dropping a 100kg weight approximately 2 meters
  • NOTE: be aware that stainless steel roof anchors are not compatible with direct contact to Colourbond or Zincalume roof sheeting, ( includes Aluminium fasteners ) refer to blue scope steel compatibility chart HERE

You can be assured that ANKAme products undergo thorough 15kN "load" tests and comply with the relevant AS/NZS 1891.4: 2009 and AS/NZS 1891.2: Supplement 1:2001 standards. So with ANKAme products your workers work safely at heights with confidence and compliant products and systems

ANKAme roof anchors have been independently tested by a NATA accredited company specifically for testing roof anchor points to AS/NSZ 1891.4:2009 proudly tested by Test Safe a division of Work Cover NSW
